Linda Noskova is the 2026 Wimbledon champion after surviving one of the most dramatic women's singles finals in recent history. The 21-year-old Czech star defeated fellow Czech Karolina Muchova 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 to win her first Grand Slam title at the All England Club.
The ninth seed looked destined for victory after leading 5-2 in the second set and earning five championship points. But Muchova mounted an incredible comeback to force a deciding set, leaving Noskova in tears before the final act. Showing remarkable resilience, Noskova regrouped to dominate the third set and lift the iconic Venus Rosewater Dish.
This victory makes Noskova the youngest Wimbledon women's champion since Petra Kvitova in 2011 and continues Czech dominance at SW19 following Marketa Vondrousova in 2023 and Barbora Krejcikova in 2024.
